Q. Did Candidus advocate the Roman dogma of transubstantiation?


Candidus, of Fulda (c. 9th Century A.D.):

Therefore, in our Sacrament, we are commanded to make a commemoration both of His body and blood, that is, of His life which He delivered up for us. (J. P.
